Drive slowly through your neighborhood or parking lot at 15-25 mph. Let the suspension compress and extend naturally over bumps and dips.
Avoid aggressive turns or emergency maneuvers during break-in. Let bushings and mounts seat gradually under normal loads first.
Break in suspension in moderate weather if possible. Extreme cold makes bushings stiff and can cause uneven settling or premature wear.
After 100 miles of driving, re-check all mounting bolts and hardware. Vibration during break-in can loosen fasteners — especially on coilovers.
Measure ride height before and after break-in. Air suspension settles 0.25-0.5 inches. Coilovers may need minor adjustments after initial miles.
